SHORT MESSAGE OF THE TRANSLATOR

Classic Soviet education: English faculty of the Institute of Foreign Languages in Almaty, Kazakhstan. All-Union Courses of Foreign Languages in Moscow (Italian Department). More than 12 years of work for the Almaty Branch of the “Intourist”.
• The beginning of the nineties was the start of my free-lance activities. To my assets I can attribute assistance at shooting of a “Genghis Khan” film in Bishkek, at golden mines in Bakyrchik, a variety of seminars, also abroad, written translations for the World Bank and the TACIS project. On a full-time basis assisted the erection of the equipment of “Philip Morris Kazakhstan” tobacco factory in 1999-2000. Up to nowadays I maintain contacts with them, assisting in technological works.
• I translated master classes for theater actors and students in the framework of “The Flying Academy”.
• I have designed two glossaries of technical terms and bureaucratic applications.
• Possibly I can recommend a friend to translate, if I am full with orders myself, or provide editing by a language native or specialists in the particular field.
